About Inner Guru
AWAKEN YOUR INNER FIRE WITH KUNDALINI BRILLIANCE
Kundalini yoga is a large body of teachings and wisdom designed to raise the sleeping power of the consciousness within the human. These teachings originate in ancient India. In 1968 a Sikh named Harbhajan Singh Puri (Yogi Bhajan) arrived in the Americas and began to teach a synthesis of traditional yogic techniques and more modern philosophy connected to practices of foundational Sikhism. His school became the house of thousands of hours and lectures, yoga sets, explained technology and tools for practitioners to live an awakened life.

Kundalini Yoga is a science and it can be explained and it can be experienced, like in a lab where you find your total potential awakened to experience your own excellence.

A Roadmap of a Kundalini Yoga Class
A class is a 60–90-minute session which can include pranayam (breathwork) and warm-up, followed by a kriya or set of exercises provided for a specific purpose. This is followed by deep relaxation. When the body is stabilised, we complete the practice with a meditation. Mantra can be a part of both the kriyas and the meditations. Breath is a principal focus throughout. Meditation will have a focus on an aspect of self, of divinity or of the mind- and it can be done in silence, with a breath pattern and/or mantra.
The kundalini experience does not mean you have gone into a deep breathless trance and are beyond this world. It integrates you more fully with reality and gives you a broader vision and sensitivity so that you can act more efficiently.

Chanting & Naad Yoga- The Yoga of Sound
Meditation on an inner or cosmic sound (naad) is part of an ancient pan-Indian tantric tradition. In Kundalini Yoga, we practice a ‘yoga of sound’, by chanting mantras, parts of sacred poems which largely originate from Sikh writings (which are themselves compilations of writings that pre-date the religion of Sikhism). The practice of repetition (japa) of primal sound is used to enter into a state of communication with the Divine, or Universal Power.
Repeating the Naam (Name of the Universal Consciousness) the unstruck sound-current of the Naad resounds.

Illuminate Your Path With Gurubani
Gurbani refers to the sacred writings and hymns found in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. These writings are composed by Sikh Gurus and other spiritual leaders of old India (from the 12th to the 17th century AD). They explore themes of equality, love, justice, and devotion to the Divine. Understanding Gurbani involves appreciating its poetic and philosophical expressions and structure, which encourage a compassionate and mindful approach to life.
